Good idea? Bad idea?

So my friend Will came into my school where I play the grand piano and herd me playing some of my songs. I had no idea that he was there but after I was done playing he came down and said wow! That sounded great! Well that made me feel good for sure. Now he wants me to play in a "band" with him...and well no one else so far lol but he is a great guitar player for sure tons of talent. But for now we might just play together for now. Could be a good idea...and it might not be. I have taken my piano playing and writing very slowly and I don't wanna be rushed. Will also wants to play in the talent show which is a couple months from now. I just wanna take this process slow.
